TQ Drain plug questions

On my 95 with a 4r70w does the converter have a drain plug? Is it under the bellhousing inspection plate?

I pulled the rubber grommet out of the bottom of the bellhousing but only saw the back of the flywheel.

Also, If I can/do drain the TQ do I need to attempt to refill it when adding new fluid back in? Or just dump several quarts in the fill tube and start it up to circulate it?

If I do need to partially fill it - how is this done?

Going to do a fluid filter change with merc v on it but if I can't get it all out was thinking I'd just take it to a garage.

Yours should have a drain plug. Look in the place you looked, but towards the back of the truck. The torque converter is behind the flexplate.

The only way to refill the torque converter is through the dipstick tube.
