Mazda M5OD-R2. On the driver side of the transmission are a drain and a fill plug. You cannot miss them It takes 3.75 quarts. A funnel or pump makes it a lot easier.

thanks buddy. since i dont have a pump, is it possible to pour the liquid via the shifter [hole] inside the cab (of course removing the shifter assembly)? there is a write up in the v6 forum about it. just wondering if i could follow the same guideline?

You can pour it through the shift tower. Actually that is what I do. I leave the fill plug off and when it starts to pour out of that hole I know that it is full. Just don't spill any oil inside on the carpet.

You can buy a hand suction pump for under 10 bucks at any parts store. Suck the fluid out of the bottle and pump it in.
