Traction Controller

Do the 04-08 F150's have a traction contoller? It was raining a couple day's ago and when I was leaving my girlfriend's work I decided to try out my truck's spinning abilities since I have never tried! Well I gave it about half throttle and my tires started spinning but as soon as my rpm's hit 3,000 my truck acted like it went into like a limp mode until my tires quit spinning! It just won't continously spin the tires not saying it's a bad thing but I just wanna make sure this is normal! Thanks!

I belive our trucks have a thing called "Torque Management/Control." Use the search thingy to find out more on it..

Edit: or since you only had it at half throttle maybe it kicked into second and it couldn't over power the wheels

I searched under Traction Controller before I started the thread but did not find anything helpfull. The torque management that I searched under helped explain to me what's going on it didn't shift to second gear, guess the torque management system kicked in and shut the power down! Thanks for the help!
