2005 f150 4X4 what fluid for tranny/ifferential/trxfr case
ok, what do you recommend on a 2005 4X4 f150 for tranny/dfferential /ransfer case service?
i bought it used with 31K and now has 45K
i have only changed the oil and oil filter as well as the fule filter. oh air too.
i have not off roaded and occasionally engage the 4x4 for a minute or so to activate it only.
what should i do in respect to the fluids for the tranny/dfferential /ransfer case fluids? if replacement is recommended, what type should i use? nothing fancy needed. what filters, if any, should be replaced as well?
thanks and i have looked in the manual for recommnedations but would like others opinions that have done it.
thanks
victor

Amsoil ATF for tranny and transfer case. Amsoil 75W140 for the rear axle and 80W90 for the front. Don't forget to throw in a bottle of friction modifier in the rear axle.

Diffs and transfer case should be good for 100k. Just keep the tranny fluid changed every 30k or so.
