Engine swap have a tranny ?

Im planning on doing a full engine swap. I have a 98 4.6 5spd and i want to put a 4.6 32v mark 8 engine and pcm in there. But im getting some mixed info on if the pcm will work keeping my 5spd. I dont want an auto and someone said that due to the fact its coming from a car with an auto that it wouldn't work with my 5spd. When i do the swap i was planning on swaping the whole engine, wiring harness, and the PCM.

What do you guys think?

It will work. You'll need to fool the transmission range sensor (TRS) into thinking it's in neutral. Then the engine will be fine and it will start, too.

Have you done this? How is this possible?

I would use the 4.6 2V PCM and have Mike Troyer make a custom tune to run the 32v engine. Use your coil packs to fire the plugs. You don't need to screw around with the tranny harness nor the PCM wiring. What year is the 32v engine?
