INstalled tranny neutral safety switch ??

When you put a tranny in

How do you hook up the neutral safety switch

is there like some way you have to do it..

My buddy hooked it up and i drove him home and the rebuilt
tranny is shifting weard from 3ed to od and my shift deal is harder to turn
now...

The switch aligns in neutral with the marks on it, but that won't make it hard to shift.

i think its all out of wack

my buddy adjusted the shift lever on the tranny so i think thats the problem

ok i played with it some... it will go into gear and what not

some times its fine but some times overdrive dont work and some times
it switches in and out...

is that sound like its going bad ?

That sounds like mlps adjustment or failure.

Now update

if i start driveing some times it will slip out of gear and just riv then slip back into gear once i start moveing

and when im wide open it shifts early
like it should shift at 5700 because of my tune
but in first it shifts at 5500 in first
