What broke inside my trans

98 f150 4.6/5.4 swap + 150k miles

Fluid was still good and red..
I flushed it once and droped the pan about 4-5 times

Im waiting for my buddy to get over so i can install my new case with new parts and my new converter



I miss my truck

been down for lil over a month i think

had to get it out 1week
then had to find a new case 3-4 days
rebuild within 5 days
then i had to wait for the converter to come in the mail...

so its been like a month... gota get her up a running

O ya and people in the florida area

I had a guy rebuild it for 400 bucks...
Thats new parts inside plus the metal deal i broke...
I got a new case tho... was like 70 with shipping off of a site

I have yet to see how it runs but he did my buddys befor me and
my buddy said it ran good...

so if people in this area want a builder at a good price msg me

Well you definitely grenaded the sun shell and smoked both the intermediate clutches and overdrive band.

My guess is that you did something in manual second that you might not want to do again. LOL
