Another clutch problem?......

I have a 89 F-150 4X4 with a 4.9, 4 speed trans with mule gear in it, it has 161000 miles on it.......

I pulled in my driveway Friday evening and when I pushed the clutch down to the floor comming to a stop, it was hard like it was rubbing something..

Saturday I checked the fluid and added a little bit.....didnt see any leaks...so took truck down the road and it shifts good in and out of gears.......

But when you have to stop and push clutch to floor, Im still feeling it rubbing about 1-1 1/2 inces from the floor.......clutch lets out about 1 inch from top.......The truck does have a rear main leaking, its been leaking for awhile....... clutch plate maybe is soaked with oil?...or is clutch ready to go?...dont know much about the hydralic clutches..

All has been good until Friday.....where do I go from here?....

Did you remove the clutch MC reservoir diaphragm before checking/adding fluid?

Do you have an external, or a concentric slave?
