how can i tell what stock gears and if limited or posi track?

if i bought a used 05 f150 4X4, is there a way to tell what hears i have and if i have limited slip or positrack? thanks victor

Check out the sticker on the inside of the Driver's door, near where it latches...

should say Axle, then a 2 letter character right next to it..

19 = 3.55 open
H9 = 3.55 LSD
26 = 3.73 open
B6 = 3.73 LSD
27 = 3.31 open
18 = 3.08 open
25 = 4.10 open
B5 = 4.10 LSD

Look at one of the tags on the diff cover it will say what ratio and if it is a LS.
