shifter loose under dash

I was having some slack in the shifter. I tightened some torx screws under the dash and solved the problem. My cable that indicates gear selection has a little piece of plastic that broke while the shifter was loose. Can I buy this online somewhere? I guess it is called the gear shift, indicator, cable?

Thanks

Touche.

The little clip that goes around the thumbwheel on my 99 F150 is broken also.. so the needle is about 1 'gear' to the right all the time. I would love to order that part (pertaining it isnt $20 or so. it doesnt bother me THAT much.)

Steve

The vendors that advertise here will probably have it, but I know RockAuto & TeamFordParts do. Click the tan CV in my signature & look thru the Steering Column album.
