A speedhandle is what most people consider an old school ratchet. Length may vary but basically you hold the bottom of it in one hand and spin it with the other.
You put the socket on top and there should be a ball or spinner of sort on the bottom.
The transgo kit is known to cause damage to these transmissions. Once you install it it is permanent you cannot reverse it. The Factory tech kit is a new plate and comes with accumulators and springs needed. The transgo does not. The factory tech kit requires little skill to install you just change the plate after you remove the valvebody. The transgo requires modifications to the valvebody.
Gregg is so hard to get ahold of anymore I am making my own kit that should be ready within the next week.

Yeah , I had to drill just one hole in my E4OD valve body - the quick fill valve chamber(I can fix if needed) and two holes in the accumulator valve body(a new Factory tech would replace)

Unfortunately, I had to fab a calibration plate (I went to big on the holes in the one provided in the transgo kit). The plate I made works fine , ditto-ed and decreased said holes(2nd, 3rd and 4th gear) but mannn that was fun - just about every hole was a different size and theres about 30 of them luckily I have allot of bits and a drill doctor

Anyway , I'm pulling the trans and replacing the converter if it spin tests bad or just the Boost valve if good, I test flow from the pump as well. What will your kit provide behind the pump and are your accumulator's steel or aluminum.

I want to replace the accumulator valve body - the transgo kit is okay but I think a new valve body is better idea in my case . The trans has 212,000 on it and the accumulators did not slide in the chambers under there own weight dry - I used 800 super fine sand paper to get them to go - since I'm pulling the trans I want to upgrade everything I can without getting into it to much.

I have a slight slip/shudder @ takeoff that was there before I openned it up and has been there for about a year now . The trango kit didn't help with that at all.

Is there anything I'm missing ? Any tips would be appreciated .

Thanx

I didn't realize you were talking about e4od I don't mess with them much. I just do the converters for those transmissions.
