Question Tranny fluid leak

I've been chasing a shudder in my 4R70W. After a couple fluid changes I think I may have taken care of the shudder. BUT, I think the drain plug in the torque converter has been crossed threaded. I have been noticing a small puddle everytime I stop. After cleaning everything up, I can tell the plug is not leaking when stopped. But, after I drive for a bit I'll have a little fluid dripping from the plug again. I'm guessing fluid is leaking around the plug when the converter is spinning..

So, I'm looking for some suggestions on how to seal that back up. I'd rather not drill the hole bigger and tap it for a larger plug if I can avoid it (mainly because I'd have to pay someone to do that for me). Any idea if some thread lock would seal things up enough? Gasket sealer on the bolt? I'll even throw some teflon tape on there if it'll work.

Thanks for any input you all may have...

not sure if the teflon would work. tranny fluid can find the smallest place to leak.might have bite the bullet and have someone drill and retap.
