greetings everyone.
i'm in need of some info. my y2k f150 w/5 spd standard trans(m50d-r2) seems to have failed internal shift forks. no 1st or 2nd(shifter hits dash & seat) & 3rd-5th fail to line up. i'm stalled in the removal of it. the first problem is the clutch hydraulic line connector@the trans(haven't been able to disconnect or find the right tool for same). the second is due to the 3" body lift the shifter hardware below the floorboard & i suspect improper install is seized/damaged(i was planning to remove the hardware after i removed the trans or cut the shifter). any help would be greatly appreciated.
phil.
