Trans cooler

I wouldn't go to the trouble of placing it between.
There is room at the front right side to mount on brackets and room to place a cooling fan in front, as well.
This keeps about 2" of seperation.
Drop the hoses right down to the return line area, open the return line and connect in.
Don't use ties of any sort to mount the cooler.
To control a fan, use a mechanical adjustable controller for less than $20 and mount the sensor fast to the trans input line to the radiator.
This senses the temp out of the converter.
Set to about 180 to 190°. Set and forget. Feed the fan thru an inline fuse right from the battery.
This method gives you auto control of the fan, pushes extra air to cancel and A/C condenser effects from the cooler heat and in hot temps will cool the engine bay down below the set temp in about 5 minutes after engine shut down, so you get three benifits from the fan.

Yes it is.
There isn't much to see. The fan/cooler can be seen thru the grill on the passenger side for a visual location reference.
The cooler is mounted on flat strap mounts cut and drilled from flat stock out of the hardware store, the fan on the front, the thermostat sensor tie wraped and insulated at the top inlet pipe to the radiator.
Fuse holder with a 10 amp inline fuse/holder off the battery + connector.
The fan draws about 5 amps. Not any more than say all the parking light.
The adjustable control is placed about center under the top cover so I can fine adjusted to where I wanted the temp controlled and now never touched.
There is no need for a switch unless a thermostat is not used.
Any problem and the fuse can be pulled or it blows.
Cut the return line metal in a straight section with tubing cutters, put a small flare on each pipe and double clamp the hoses so it can't blow off.
Route the hoses so they never have a chance to fold over and restrict the flow.
Re-check the clamps in about 2 weeks, for tighness. The hoses relaxes.
If you still need a photo, I will take one but it will just be through the grill same as discribed.
The rest of it is just a matter of looking over the places, as discribed.
