New Ford Remanufactured Tranny Shutter

Just replaced the motor and tranny in my 300,000 miles truck. Seems to have a shutter in the tranny going down the highway. I put in the in line filter like ford wants you to do. Put it on the line going to the top of the radiator. Engine runs good.

The shutter did not start this until it had about 100 miles on it. Also when changing gears from reverse to forward or from forward to reverse, it sounds like someone tapped the drive shaft.

I have a new drive shaft and the rear end only has 60,000 miles on it.

Tomorrow I'm going to recheck all the electrical connections going to the tranny and see how much play the drive shaft has in it in park. Sure cannot use the old addage of change the tranny fuild because it is all new.

I got the remanufactured motor and tranny from my local Ford dealer for $4,000.00 Comes with a 3 year 75,000 mile warranty.

Since I put everything in, I have not even had a Check Engine light. I guess I did something right, now, I'm wondering what I did wrong.

Thanks for all the help,

Kelly
