new f150 tranny

I have a 2005 f150 with the 5.4 and was just wondering why it takes so long to shift out of OD (down shift) like when hauling a load uphill?

It has to do with the computer programming.
It can be adjusted by aftermarket tuning or possible dealer upgrading if there is a bulliten on the problem.
Otherwise turn the OD off with your switch.
