Question solenoid in tranny fix but code came back

I replaced the new solenoid in the tranny because of the code said bad "shift solenoid b", the solenoid comes in a pack for the R70 tranny, easy fix but was careful with the harness. When we install the new pack we disconnected the battery cable(pos. side). After new filter, new solenoid pack and 5 quarts of tran. fliud the engine light was off and the truck runs fine. After driving a few miles the engine light came on, and code came back again (P0755) bad shift solenoid b. Is this because I need to clear the code or do I have problem somewhere else????bad connection...where??.
I appreciate any input or suggestions. Thanks meh129

That code can be set by a bad solenoid or a wiring problem to the solenoid. The problem can be anywhere from the PCM to the solenoid.

Check the wiring harness where it passes by the exhaust, ford seemed to route them a little close at one point. I have seen 2 identical failures to the problem you are having that were in fact a melted wire at the harness.
