I posted a question a few days ago about the accumulator body, but didn't get any response. I went and had the codes read, paid $12 for it, posted the question and waited. During my wait I got a check engine light. found a parts store that read the codes for nothing. found out that one of my O2 sensors went bad. I got that sensor and sprung for the $18 Vehicle Speed Sensor, which was another code. Installed then, had the codes cleared, and my hard shifting has been cured. I was afraid that the VSS wasn't going to do it, but so far the trucks been shifting normal. Good Luck to all of you with this problem, and I hope your's is as easy as mine was to fix.
