I have a question involving final drives. A co-worker has an '04 Screw and I have an '06. Both with the 5.4L and 3.55's. Recently I drove his for a little while and I noticed no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the truck to accelerate under 2,000 rpm's under normal acceleration. Now, in my truck it typically stays at 1,600-1800 rpm's during acceleration. Why would his be higher? It felt like it had a lot more power because of this and if I can change it somehow I would like to. We are both running stock computer.
