Whats wrong with my clutch?

Hey everyone, I had a simple question that i really wanted to know the answer to, and that is why my clutch is only catching at the end of its full range? Every time I take off it is hard to shift from gear to gear as smoothly as it used to be. It could be from me dropping the clutch one too many times, but I would like to know its something a little easier than changing the entire clutch.

Check the fluid level in your CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER. Don't forget to remove the rubber cup under the cap. Dot 3 brake fluid is what you add, I THINK, check your owners manual.

Most likely cause is a leaking slave cylinder. There is a dust boot that can hold a fair amount of fluid before the leak becomes apparent. On the bellhousing there is a rubber plug. Remove the plug and feel inside the housing for oil. While you are under there bleed the clutch. This may temporarily bring back the pedal.

Are you sure you looked at the CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER and not the brake master cylinder?

It's probably the SLAVE cylinder going bad.
