Which torque converter?

Im wanting a new tc now... I want billet, Not really a stall, just something strong and good. Im pretty sure mine is worn out more than it should be, tranny gets a lot hotter than it should, and there's a lot of rpm when your not really taking off that fast...

b&M are crappy get an Edge convertor. they are about 450-500 bucks but well worth it. and u might want to get your pump tested. or atleast have someone test the line pressure in the transmission. i had my pump die and started causing loads of problems.

If there were someone I would suggest besides myself it would be Circle D. Chris is a good guy and cares about what he is building as I do. I build these units if anyone wants info on them feel free to contact me. I will finally have my website setup here in the next couple weeks.

HI!... Stay away from B&M and HURST TQ converters. Their JUNK , I've blown plenty of those up, over the years. IMO P.I makes one of the best TQ converters out there for the price. I've ballooned 4 TQ's in my truck over the years. I've had my P.I 3000 stall converter now for about 2.5 years with no problems ar all. Works perfectly.

Im sure that is the best, but also cost a grand... Has anyone heard of www.dirtydogperformance.com? They can build me a disc unit with a billet cover and fully brazed internals with a 2000 stall.
