05 FX4 Supercrew 5.4L Automatic Tranny- When I accellerate the transmission makes a grinding noise. To get more specific, it sounds like missing a shift in a manual. It will grind for a second, and then kick into gear like a mule. It usually happens accellerating after a stop, or when going from 3rd to 4th. It feels like it's bogging down and then slamming into gear, but I'm not slamming the pedal, it happens when just driving normal. Anybody know what it could be. Truck has 37K miles on it, and it's happened every once and a while since about 3 months after I brought it home from the dealer. I figured i'd ask here before being told by the dealer that they "can't replicate the sound." Any help?!

 

Hmmm, thats a new one from my readings, but I don't focus on the 4r75e. I suggest a search through the 04+ section.
