Transmission Clunk

I have a 2004 F150 Supercrew. When cruising between 45 - 50 mph, a loud "clunk" can be heard and felt when I try to accelerate. Is anyone else having this problem? I took it inot the dealer, and of course, they told me that they could not reproduce the sound. Any help you could give me would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the update. When I take my truck dealership, should I let them know that there is a tsb?

I took mine in recently for the same problem. According to the dealer, the TSB says the clunk is normal, and not to try and fix...This seems insane to me. I tried to explain to them that it feels like there is slack in the transmission, and sometimes I get a loud "clack" when I accelerate from a coast.

Let me know if your dealer does anything.

Chandler
