HI, The good old Ford got me again today. Shifted into 4High and it went all the way to 4Low - What a bang. Anyway, then it wouldn't shift out. I turned off the truck and it shifted out to something? I think it is almost in regular 2wd, but the 4x4 light is on, so I am thinking it is not fully disengaged. Now it won't shift at all, clicks in the dash for a bit and then the 4x4 light comes on and stays on.

Reading what posts I have found, it seems the Transfercase shift motor is failing. It is only $75.00 at Napa, so I think I will just give it a try. But is there anything I should watch out for when replacing it? I honestly did do a search, but can not find a replacement post. I did find one that talked about being careful of the position when replacing it?? Not sure what to look for. Thanks for the help - "Again!!"
