Exclamation Driveshaft Dampener..vibration, Can I remove it?

I have searched over and over reading all the issues with vibrations and I am sick of searching.
Yes, I now have a small driveline vibration that I can't figure out between 65-70 mph and sometimes it's there and other times it's not and it depends on road surface. At 75-78 it's not there at all.

97 f150 Ext cab, 2wd
3/4 dop kit
Put the stock wheels and tires on it and it's still there so it's not the wheels and tires.
I replaced the shocks
I replaced the tailshaft bushing and ujoints which made it much better b/c now it does go away once in a while.
New tranny mount
Truck has 160,000mi and runs fantastic otherwise.

Now I'm looking at the driveshaft dampener and the rubber doesn't look good at all (sqeezed out and cracked, etc) so I am thinking about removing the dampener from the aluminum driveshaft. Anybody ever do this with negative effects?

What does a new driveshaft cost these days if this ruins it?

Hi!!

From the t-case lubricate the slip yoke with Teflon Grease.

MERCON XT-2-QDX Auto trans fluid in t-case is suppose help.

The rear gears cooks the Friction Modifier additive at about 8000 miles in mine and starts a vibrating thing.

All I can think of..Good Luck!
