pleas help with trans & driveshaft

a good friend has a 1990 f150 short cab long bed with a 5.0 and the trans went out so he went to the junkyard and took one out of a 1988 f150 with a 351 took it home put it in the 1990 everthing fit but the drive shaft in the 1990 is to long i need one that is 66 inchs im trying do do this cheap the guy dont have a lot of money do you know of anything i can take the driveshaft out of that will fit
