clutch pedal is easy

So I just got a new clutch put in my truck (1995 f150..6cyl. M5OD) and the clutch pedal is super easy to push. Its really wierd. Like it only engages/disengages at the top of the push. The first say 2 inches will allow me to shift and the rest is just pure slack. When I start in first I have to let the clutch out a whole lot before it will start to move. It wasnt like this before and I have never felt something like this with all of the say 10 manual cars I have driven. Can anyone diagnose this problem? Is it just a adjustment problem? I am going to call the place that put it in but I would like some information to back up what I am feeling about it. Thanks.
