Might be old news but its new to me...

Took the old thing in for my yearly oil change and while I was at the dealership I asked the transmission guy what size lines does it have, which started us on the conversation of transmission temperatures. Of course we all know that the F250 and up have the temp gage built in the dash but the F150 has one also. It seems that when you reach that over temp point that the OD/TOW light flashes telling you that the transmission fluid has reached a critical temp... I'm drive an 05 Screw and i can only assume that the 04/06 & 07 are the same. But you know what they say about "assume"...

Yeah, when you cook the fluid enough to set a trouble code to blink the OD light. Bout the time you need to write the 2000dollar rebuild check. Been that way since the intro of the E4OD in '88.

Also the gauge on the superdutys is nothin more than an idiot light with a needle. I'm adding an aftermarket gauge.
