I have a 2003 F-150 Screw FX4. It has a 5.4L. I had a problem last night. My transmission started spitting out alot of fluid. I cant see where it is coming from because its on top of the transmission. I got towed home by my best friend. Cleaned up the spilled fluid and added some new fresh fluid it there. I started it up and Park, Reverse, Nuetral, Drive, 2nd Gear, and 1st Gear all act like drive. When its in park though, it feels like im power braking it without enough power to turn the tires. Also when in reverse, it will just kick into reverse every once in awhile (I was driving at 5 mph in reverse but going forward and it just kicked into reverse). by the time i parked it again (maybe 2 min), most of the fluid was gone again. Still cant see where its coming from. I just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Thats what Im doing tomorrow morning. I have an extended powertrain warranty that will cover it hopefully. I cross my fingers for the $200 deduct instead of some astronomical bill. Wish me luck.

No offence, but what were you doing at the time this started happening? Did you revv the engine and throw it into drive?
