Rear Axle Lube

Switching out the lube on my differential. How does that gasket hold up? Is it reusable. I'll probably buy a new one anyways.

What rear-end do you have?

I don't know about the 8.8-incher, but the 9.75-inch rear-end has no gasket. You sorta make one out of RTV.

I have the 8.8 and also no gasket. I used Royal Purple and RTV for a gasket.

I also added the Ford friction modifier even though Royal Purple is supposed to have friction modifier in it.
