transmission cooler install

on a 4r70w that did not come with a transmission cooler where do i hook up the lines. i took a quick look at the transmission and nothing obvious jumped out at me.

any help or pics would be appreciated.

Like anything else you have to cut and flare the lines.

which lines are you referring to? the ones that run to the cooler?

that part i'm fine with. the question i'm asking is where on the transmission do i hook it up? there are no lines there to cut and flare right now.

I just put one on my 01' screw.The external cooler needs to be tied into the tranny return line coming from the radiator,its the lower one.Shortly after exiting the rad,the aluminum line has a short rubber line in it,mine did at least.I just sliced it w/ a razor and connected both ends to the cooler w/barbed hose fittings and hose clamps.
