Have a 79 F100 with a 6 and a 3 speed, want to add overdrive, is the M50D a bolt in, or do you have to modify x member and drive shaft? Thanks

Howdy and welcome!

Don't recall ever reading about a M5OD swap into a pre 80 truck. Do you have the three speed stick or auto?

Feel free to IM me.

Ok, I found a "kit" that says a ford 3.03 stick is the same length as a NV3350.

http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/i-...e_swap_kit.htm

And here is some good info on the NV3350.

Hope that helps.
