trans 4x4 troubles

I had my transmission rebuilt the other day on my 1998 F-150 4x4 and I got it back yesterday. Well before I get home I decide to make sure my 4x4 on-the-fly was working, and it was not. Whenever I turn the switch nothing at all happens. And then I noticed that when I first start the truck I can here clicking that sounds just like the 4x4 switch trying to engage. It clicks a few times and then stops. Does anybody have any idea what might have happened? I guess they left something unplugged? Is this something I should try to fix myself or take it back and have them check it out? Keep in mind that I am not very familiar with the 4x4 goings-on. Any ideas? Thx.

I'd look under your truck for any obvious wires hanging down or plugs that were unhooked but I wouldn't tear into it because if you tear into it,then you can't find anything. well then its your problem because they can say you were messing around with it so they don't have to back up there work.. just friendly advise.. take it for what it's worth.
