If you're not familiar with changing gears, you will be better off leaving it to the pros. The ratio needs to be changed .50 or so to be worthwhile; 3.55 to 4.10. With a 4.6/8.8" you're looking at a total price of around $600 per axle.

I was quoted a price of around $600 for 4.10's. I'm not %100 is that was for limited slip. It was for a 9.75" read end.
