Roushcharged 3V Owners, Hard Shifts?

I've noticed an incredibly harsh shift point right around 65. It drops from OD to second and the truck feels like it's going to dump the tranny.

I can avoid this by taking OD off before going WOT, but I'm wondering if it's the custom Roush tune or something common on this setup.

Did the setup come with a hand held tuner?

And yeas, its prolly the tuning that makes the tranny shift hard

yep, probably the tune set it up that way.
But as a side note, and I am no expert, but when I got my X-Cal 2 from Troyer there were specific intructions stating that doing a OD to 2nd down shift at hard throttle is a bad idea in any case. Pop out of OD 1st and then hammer it. Now I have found this cumbersome, since I tend(ed) to tool around in OD. But now I spend a lot more time with OD OFF when I am off the highway. Believe it or not I am getting better mileage when I want to and , just as Troyer claimed, get a better launch when dropping into 2nd from 3rd instead of from OD

Thanks!

The truck was tuned at the Roush facility. We have a service call in at the dealership. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to see if others were running into the same issue.
