getting ready to pull a transmission

I haven't done it before. Anyone got some quick tips? Thanks.

Use a Transmission Jack and support the rear end of the engine. Make sure the truck is up high enough so the Transmission Jack will roll out and in with Transmission on it. Do not use concrete blocks to block up the truck. Drain the oil first or it will run out the tail shaft.

'91 F150, two wheel drive, 300 six, E40D tranny. needs a new flexplate. old one has a bunch of teeth missing and i'm tired of pulling the starter off and turning it with a screwdriver,lol.
