Auto to manual tranny change?

Is it possible to change this? And if so, about how much would this type of transfer cost?

Anything is possible. What type of truck, and what tranny do you want?

by the time you did all that work, it'd probably be cheaper to sell your truck and buy one that is manual transmission. Depending on the truck you have, it would involve a lot more then just takign oen out, putting antoher one in... i.e. shifter changes, computer changes, adapters to transfer cases if its 4-wheel drive, changes to where it connects to the engine via flywheels, etc.

Do a search on car-parts .com and look up the parts that you will need. You will need a tranny, flywheel, clutch, drive shaft, tranny mount, pedal assy with clutch pedal, complete clutch hydraulic system, and a chip to turn off the automatic tranny controls. You will need to cut out a hole in the floor for the shifter and in the firewall for the clutch master cylinder. it can be done but it would be a major PITA.
