96 F-250 5.8 tranny getting hot???

Hey
I have a 96 Ford 250 with 199,000 klms on it and it seems that the trans is geting hot. I can tell because the floor boards warm up on a long trip and it never used to do this. Are the bands sliping???. Time for an oil change???

I would look at the Radiator (Needs to be rodded out) and change the oil.

Could it be an exhaust leak? Maybe a missing heat shield? I wouldn't jump to conclusions. There are a multitude of things that can cause the floor boards to get hot.
