O/D Jerks at 1.5 rpm

While cruizing along in O/D my tranny seems to jerk or lunge?...? but only in O/D and at low rpm's 1.5 to 2, straight aways and inclinces. Once I kick it down I never notice this "jerk / lunge" in other gears. Early mornings I don't notice it, but once the truck is warmed up, it kicks in. Any thoughts as to why this jerks?

You may be dealing with an intermittent engine misfire. In overdrive at low engine rpms the engine is really lugging, and that's when an engine misfire tends to show up.

My truck just started doing the exact same thing you are describing. Let me know if you find out anything and I will likewise. Thanks

just out of curiousity did u disconnect the batery at all? if it earased everything it has to learn the codes and the shifting will seem harsh for the fist couple hundred miles. i kno i have a superchips tuner and whenever i go from performance to towing modes it takes a while for the tranny to hit the right spots it seems
