Clutch won't Disengage from flywheel ?

92, 150 T-18 trans. w/118K city miles

It's been getting harder to get into gear for awhile. If I pump the clutch, it helps a little. I changed the slave cyl. a few years ago due to leaking. Yesterday I changed the Master Clutch cyl. I'm confident that I got all of the air bled.

I can feel that the trans. is still rotating when the clutch is pushed in. It takes alot of pressure to get into low or rev. and it grinds bad unless I pull it into another gear then straight to rev. (non-sync. gear)

Can a problem with the pressure plate cause it to not separate when clutch pedal is pushed in? Maybe another slave cyl.?

I would say the slave is shot or possibly even the clutch disc itself. That is a classic sign that a clutch is just worn out. The slave is probably the culprit. If you search on hear you will soon see they tend to be a POS. If it were me and there was very many miles on the clutch I would (after looking at it of course) change clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and slave cylinder and if it is really been in there for a long time maybe even the piolet bearing while I had it all apart.

Hope that helps.

Changed the slave. No difference. Clutch kit assy is next. When I removed the slave, there is quite a bit of play in the pivot arm and throw out bearing.
Any suggestions on a clutch kit assy.

I have to know if I have a 10" or 11" clutch. Is there a way to tell before pulling it apart?
I have the vin # and will call today.

Shawn
