94 F150 tran won'e engage after coming to a stop

Can anyone help, a little history blew front seal while towing 25' TT on interstate, towed to a local Ford dealer 65 miles from home, dropped $515.00 picked up unit today towed trailer 65 miles home.Parked truck for about 1 hour needed to run out, everthing was fine until I stopped at stop sign transmission would not engage, put in park cut off engine put in drive and took off with a little shutter at first, but smothed out and ran fine till I had to stop again, had to put in park restart and everthing worked fine till I got back home, does same thing in reverse, call Ford dealer and they said bring it back in as I said 65 mile away.
Has anyone experienced this problem?

It is fluid related....like a clogged filter or body passage. maybe a check ball was installed incorrectly. The fluid level was an awesome guess.

It's gotta go back.....
