Need help fixing OBDII code P0750.

I am looking for help resolving an OBDII code P0750 on my '01 F-150. In researching it I know that it means shift solenoid A or shift solenoid number 1 circuit. What I can not find is what to look for or do next.

The service engine soon light is on and the overdrive off light is flashing. Currently the truck is real hesitant into going into overdrive and when it does it will go back into third quickly.

Any ideas?

First thing check the external wiring harness for nicks or melted parts.
If you don't find anything there replace the solenoid.

Got it fixed!!! After looking for broke and burned wires and fuses I went back and pulled the pan. Turned out to be the black plastic circuit board connecting the solenoids in the transmission was loose.
