Complete Tranny Fliud Change

I have a 1997 F-150 and I would like to know where is the plug to drain the torque converter? If you got any pictures too that would be great. Thanks

There's a plate on the front of the trans, facing forward, where the trans. bolts to the engine, that allows access to unbolt the torque converter; remove the plate. Turn the engine over by hand using a socket on the harmonic balance and look for the plug (or have your bride look for the plug while you turn the engine over by hand!) You should see it.

Actually there is a round rubber cover in the bell housing a little forward of the oil pan. Remove this cover and look up into the hole. Turn the engine using the crankshaft balancer bolt (18mm) until you see the little drain plug line up.
