Question How Do I Properly Bleed Clutch? 03 F-150 6cyl

Since This is my first vehicle with a hydraulic clutch, (the last were mechanical) can anyone give me some good advice on bleeding the clutch?
I was on my way to the dealership the other day and the clutch went out. One of the mechanics put fluid in as it was WAY low. He told me that it probably didn't suck in any air. And After he put in the fluid, he pressed the clutch and it felt ok, but after I got home it didnt seem to feel right. I figure it must have sucked air and needs to be bled. Thanks for all tips and advice.

The easiest way is with 2 people. The bleeder screw is an 8mm. It is on the driver side of the tranny above where the line goes into the tranny. Usea clear hose attached to the tube. Have the second person pump the pedal a few times and on the last one keep the pedal fully depressed. When it is depressed open the bleeder valve with the wrench and allow the fluid to flow down the tube. You will need a jar or container for the fluid to drain into. Then tighten the screw and repeat the process of pumping and hold then unscrew etc... Do this till there is no more ail bubbles coming out of the tube.

Note. Be sure to keep the fluid reservoir full or it will suck in air. Make sure you never release the clutch pedal with the bleeder valve open. It make 10-15 times before all the air is out.

Last thing is ordering a new slave cylinder. They leak and must be replaced when they do. Yours is on its way out.
