Transfercase shifter knob
I need to remove the plastic console from the floor of my 2004 F150 4x4. To do so, I need to remove the transfercase shifter knob. I tried to unscrew it with my hands but it would not budge. Any suggestions. Thank you.

Mine is just pressed on. Need to pull upward. I have a 1997.

Every Ford shifter knob I have seen is just on a spline, so just tug off, but watch your chin... (been there, done that, got a shiner).
