i mixed tans fluids before on a different make of vehicle, but from what the mechanic said, they both expand at different temps, so it could very well break some seals and cause some leaks...

so its good to use what was specified in your manual, as they tested your vehicle with such fluids, so i am assuming it may be the same with all fluids...not sure.

Synthetic Oil

I aslo suggest not to mix synthetic oil. i would reccemond Mobil1 or CastrolSyntec. Synthetic is good because you can go up to 6,000-7,000 miles. if you use synthetic oil i suggest you use a k&n oil filter.

I sure hope you can get more than 6000-7000 miles out of your ATF.
