slight vibration in overdrive

02 F150, 2wd, 5.4 auto, 3.31 gears.
Just bought it 2-3 months ago with 37K miles. Belonged to the president of a construction company. Nice truck but evidence it was used for work (tow hitch, bedliner is chewed up, paint is bubbling off the rear end pumpkin). I just put a brand new set of Michelin Cross Terrains on the truck to replace the crap Goodyears. The ride is now perfect as long as I keep the overdrive locked out. But if I engage overdrive at highway speeds (60-70) then there is a slight vibration that I can feel in the seat and I can see in the rear view mirror. If I disengage overdrive the buzzing stops.

The way this truck drives with overdrive engaged leads me to believe that the previous owner towed a trailer a lot and never disengaged the overdrive. What questions should I be asking when looking for a tranny shop and what answers should I be looking for? The truck drives perfectly with overdrive locked out.

Thanks Alan. I'll have it looked at/ repaired next week. Hopefully it won't require refinancing my house or selling off the kids.
