FYI: Might wanna read this one....Found my problem...

Just wanted to let everyone know that my truck started off with the motor reving up then finally it would go but it would make a awful THUNK noise.....I took it to the shop and found out that the Transmission Pan had been dented in (one of those times when I was 4X4-ing) and caused the Transmission to not get enough transmission fluid...had to replace every band in the transmission......cost me $1494.34 but I got a shift kit out of the deal so if you do get your transmission worked on be sure to go ahead and get the shift kit you won't be dissapointed....so for all you 4X4 people out there be sure to go home and check your pan just in case it may be dented you can catch the problem early and not have to spend money like I did....same for 4X2's also...

Any ides how it got dented? Looks like you need to fab up a skid plate for the tranny.
