Question need your $0.02

hey everyone i have a ? for you guys. i was wondering what you guys think of auto tranny coolers and shift kits? for right now i rarely tow and the most is a snowmobile sled bed. with 2 sleds. i was wondering would a tranny cooler help just even city and highway driving enough that i should look in to one? or is it just for trucks that work a little harder? would a shift kit be a good idea at all? i have a micro tuner coming with the shifting program so would that be fine to use instead or the kit? or together?

Tranny coolers are a must. As far as shift kits go I have yet to find a good one. Factory tech valvebody is nice.

I have the Factory Tech Valve Body (FTVB).

I am happy with it and it was relatively easy to install. This is a do it yourself deal. Don't need Mom and Pop.

Check with Troyer Performance or Chikenears for pricing.

I think the FTVB runs aroung $225, the Transgo Shift kit runs about $99, and the B&M about $190.

Do a search for "shift kits" you'll find a lot of information and opinions

Edited for spelling of Chikenears
