There are different opinions on the where the "most accurate" location is, but IMO, I like to know what the hottest the trans fluid gets, so I put mine in the trans OUTPUT line, just before it goes into the rad cooler. This is so I can see how hot the TC is getting... Lets you know when the TC is unlocked as well.

Most seem to like the test port that's on the drivers side of the trans.... You just have to remove the plug and put in the sensor..... Might have to make sure you get a shorter sensor, as I've head that some of them are longer then the length of the port.....

Others like the pan temp.....

Good luck!

Mitch

I choose the port on the drivers side then hooked up a manual temp gauge to my out line, i only see about a 5 to 10 degree difference between the two. the out line being hotter but i can live with that. The installation was to easy in the port and the wires were just the right length. Make certain if you mount it in the outline that the sending unit is grounded!!
